Conor McLoughlin

Outgoing, lively person who loves to explore, travel and learn new things.

I have always been fascinated with how our genes can affect our chances of developing a disorder. Recent advances in technology have given us a deeper understanding into the failing mechanisms that bring about disease, providing scientists with possible targets for prevention. I am passionate about exploring these prevention targets. This can oftentimes be puzzling and frustrating but can lead to incredibly exciting results that can hopefully one day lead to promising results for human patients
