Sanjeeta Sharma Pokharel

I am an elephant biologist, working to understand the stress physiology in wild Asian elephants.

Being an elephant biologist, I am interested to understand the physiological modulations in elephants when they are in elephant-human conflict zones and how these are influencing their overall health and well-being. With an intense human-activities deteriorating the habitats of Asian elephants, insights on their physiological aspects are vital to build up a better conservation strategy.
