Brenton Hordacre

I am an early career research fellow interested in stroke rehabilitation and approaches to improve recovery.

I am really interested in understanding how the brain works, how we can measure brain activity and what we can do to help people with various brain based injuries (e.g. stroke). My interests come from my experiences as a neurological physiotherapist where I noticed that we really are not doing as well as we should be to help people recover. More research is needed so that clinicians can offer better treatments to help these people recover. I am really passionate about seeing research improve clinical practice
