I am a cosmologist working on the connections between the large-scale properties of the universe and fundamental physics. In particular, I study how gravity shapes the universe and what we can learn about gravity from cosmological observations.

My main areas of interest are Dark Energy, the mysterious mechanism behind the acceleration of the universe, gravitational waves and the large scale structure of matter and galaxies in the universe. Studying these phenomena we can learn a great deal about gravity, which is at the same time the most obvious force and the most difficult to understand.
