John Stephen Kayode

I attended the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, where I obtained Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Geophysics in the year 2000, and a Master of Technology in Exploration Geophysics in 2007 respectively from the Department of Applied Geophysics. Presently I am a PhD research student in the Geophysics Unit, School of Physics, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Main Campus, Penang, Malaysia. With my research focus on Exploration Geophysics since October, 2013. Before coming to Malaysia, I have written more than 40 journal peered review articles and conference papers published and a book jointly author with some colleagues. I am an active member of some professional bodies such as; (i) International Association for Mathematical Geosciences (IAMG). (ii) Young Earth Scientists Network (YES). (iii) International Association for Gondwana Research (IAGR). (iv) International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS). (v) International Council for Science (ICSU). (vi) Asian Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS). (vii) Global Earth Model Sub-Saharan Africa (GEM). (viii) International Association for Promoting Geoethics (IAPG). (ix) Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG).

My motivation has been provision of Education at the Cutting Edge level. I am committed to train Students in Geosciences to benefit from and contribute to cutting-edge research in the Earth sciences subjects. Provision of High-tech teaching facilities to encourage project- and team-based approaches and high-quality online experiences support face-to-face as well as distance learning. Integrative Research Through Collaboration Collaborating with Faculty, Students and Staff to bring collectively expertise in the Earth and Planetary Sciences; Biosciences, Chemical and Physical Sciences, to produce a distinctive environment for the exploration of Earth-system activities at the interfaces of the Geosphere, Atmosphere, Hydrosphere, Cryosphere, and Biosphere. Serving the Society Through the geoscientific conducts, the geoscientists are committed to building a more varied geosciences personnel. We strive to create a better-informed community, equipped to make decisive decisions regarding natural resources, natural hazards, and environmental impacts.
