Arghya Chakravarty

Arghya Chakravarty received the Electronics and Communication Engineering degree from West Bengal University of Technology, India in 2011. Presently, he is working towards his Ph.D. degree at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. Currently, his research is focused on the design of actuator fault tolerant control strategies for nonlinear uncertain systems with relevance to aircraft control applications. His primary research interests are adaptive control theory and emerging applications, robust control, nonlinear observers design, design of networked control systems robust to cyber attacks and control of power converters using modern control paradigms especially using neural networks and robust adaptive control. He is an IFAC affiliate and serves as a reviewer for several internationally well acclaimed journals including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, Asian Journal of Control, IET Control Theory and Applications, Information Sciences, International Journal of Systems Science, etc.

Love to explore frontier areas in control engineering through the knowledge and analytical rigor I've earned from my research. Sometimes I do feel that music needs to be acknowledged (as it works for me) for its assistance in generating innovative thoughts and ideas and also as a recourse to pacify your inner self.
