Dylan Barth

I am currently in the final year of my doctoral studies, pursuing an interest in surveillance systems and public health epidemiology. My doctoral studies focus is on the establishment of AFROStrep, the first registry & biorepository in Africa to document & investigate Streptococcus pyogenes, an organism responsible for more than 20% of sore throat in children, & leading to Rheumatic Heart Disease, a major contributor to death in Africa.
