Diane P Proctor

I am a teacher of K-12 students with language-based learning disabilities. I enjoy learning about applying cognitive science to learning and teaching.

I became interested in learning disabilities through my first masters in expressive therapy. Art therapy, creative movement, and psychodrama therapy taught me about the diagnostic-prescriptive approach to helping people with mental health issues. Similarly, teaching clinically focuses directly on the individual. I transfer my knowledge of language-based learning disabilities to students struggling in public schools.
