Assessing customary lands using the FAO - VGGT and UN-Habitat - Continuum of Land Rights

The marginalization of women's access to land and titles in Samoa is an issue that goes beyond gender equality but rather their survival as one's access to land and chief titles is the core elements of citizenship and belonging. Access to food and water, employment, politics and free speech are all factors that are limited when one's access to land is marginalized. This is what my recent research was based on and I feel like this forum will provide another platform and a wider audience for this issue to be heard in order to bring positive change.
