The overall aim of my research program is to provide government, community and companies with information and tools that will enable them to sustainably utilise and manage the forest ecosystems. My research strives to provide solution to the complex socioecological challenge of sustainable forest utilization in a changing climate. My research program spans from basic to applied socioecological questions, and focuses mostly on the sustainable utilization and management of forest ecosystem goods and services, and providing a strong scientific basis for forest ecosystem management decisions.
