The Royal British Legion Centre for Blast Injury Studies (CBIS) was established in 2011 to address the disabling injuries of conflict. With funding from The Royal British Legion and Imperial College London as well as support in kind from the Ministry of Defence, CBIS is comprised of the unique collaborations of civilian engineers and scientists working alongside military doctors.
