Synchronization of linear systems via relative actuation

Abstract

Synchronization in homogeneous networks of discrete-time linear time-invariant systems is considered under relative actuation. Neither input nor output matrices are assumed to be commensurable. Under certain symmetry assumptions distributed algorithms are presented for observer construction and state feedback design. When run together, the algorithms ensure synchronization via dynamic output feedback.
