Standing waves in the first order spline-wavelet decomposition

It is established that a standing wave in the wavelet flow is simulated in the case of a two- nested spline-wavelet decomposition of the first order; so, it is possible to reduce the flow rate of the wavelet flow by a third. If the initial flow is generated by a smooth function, then the magnitude of the wavelet flow is found to coincide with the order of magnitude of the second differential of this function.
