Sorption of Carbon Disulfide from Air-Gas Mixtures on Carbon Materials with Various Nature of the Surface

Abstract
The sorption of carbon disulfide on carbon materials was studied as influenced by the chemical nature of their surface and presence of surface oxygen-containing functional groups and metal ions differently bound on the sorbent surface. Cation-substituted carbons with considerably higher capacity as compared with the initial sorbents were prepared.
