Practice patterns of Canadian Ophthalmological Society members in cataract surgery—2015 survey

This was the seventh annual survey on the practice patterns of the members of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society (COS) in cataract surgery.1–6 The response rate was 37%. The majority of the respondents (62.3%) have been in practice for 20 or more years. Forty percent of the respondents performed between 50 and 99 cataract surgeries per month. All of the respondents performed phacoemulsification and used an antibiotic eye drop postoperatively.
