Abstract

International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information Processing, Ahead of Print. For any symmetry group [math], any appropriate matrix dilation (compatible with [math]) and any appropriate symmetry center [math] we give an explicit method for the construction of [math]-symmetric with respect to the center [math] refinable masks which have sum rule of an arbitrary order [math]. Moreover, we give a description of all these masks. For any symmetry group [math], any appropriate matrix dilation (compatible with [math]) and any appropriate row of symmetry centers [math] we give two explicit methods for the construction of [math]-symmetric with respect to the row of centers [math] refinable matrix masks which have sum rule of an arbitrary order [math]. A description of all such matrix masks is also presented.
