Abstract

The hydrodynamics of flows is examined in the near-wall zones of cyclone furnaces for the combustion of sulfur compounds. Relationships permitting calculation of the coefficient of hydraulic resistance are derived on the basis of solution of motion equations with consideration of the structure of the peripheral flow.
