Flow with heat transfer in the presence of phase transitions on the wall of an annular channel

A solution is presented to the problem of the laminar flow of a heat-transfer vapor in an annular channel of constant cross section in the presence of a liquid film on the outer wall and heating through the inner wall of the channel. The results of test calculations for water vapor are given. The obtained results are analyzed, and it is shown that they make it possible to establish a number of characteristic features of the process, in particular, the possible existence of a self-similar solution.
