Two different methods are described employing EDTA and Cupferron, respectively. The amperometric method by means of the cathodic diffusion current permits under special conditions to determine down to 5×10−8g of Cu with good results. Utilizing the anodic diffusion current, caused by the titrating solution, for determination of the endpoint 1 × 10−8 g of Cu may be determined with convenient precision.
