Abstract

The degree of the transannular interaction N → Si in 2-hydro-l,3-dioxa-6-aza-2-silacyclooctanes was evaluated from the dependence of the frequency of the band of the stretching vibration of the Si-H bond on the polarity of the solvent and the temperature.The presence of two bands of the stretching vibration of the Si-H bond in the IR spectra of the solutions of derivatives of 2-hydro-l,3-dioxa-6-aza-2-silacyclooctanes was caused by the conformational isomerism of the (H)SiOC fragment.
