Digital implementation of nonlinear autopilot for STT missiles

Abstract

This paper proposes a design method for a digital nonlinear autopilot of STT missiles, where additional control inputs are augmented for preventing performance degradation and instability. The proposed method can extend allowable range of sampling time and also preserves the control performance when compared to that of the continuous autopilot.
