Industrial methods are proposed for the heat treatment of B, A, SS, and T coal with poor (if any) clinkering properties; the characteristics of the solid products (coke, semicoke) are presented. By preliminary heat treatment of such coal, solid products suitable for various industrial uses may be obtained.
