Abstract

The pseudo-ultraspherical polynomial of degree n   is defined by <img height="21" border="0" style="vertical-align:bottom" width="173" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="http://origin-ars.els-cdn.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S0022247X16001840-si1.gif">C˜n(λ)(x)=(−i)nCn(λ)(ix) where <img height="21" border="0" style="vertical-align:bottom" width="54" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="http://origin-ars.els-cdn.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S0022247X16001840-si2.gif">Cn(λ)(x) is the ultraspherical polynomial.
